PromptChan is pretty straightforward compared with a lot of AI image sites I've tried. You don't need to spend forever figuring everything out before you can start getting decent results. Image quality can be surprisingly good, especially once you learn how to structure prompts. It's not perfect with more complicated scenes, but for normal generations I've been really happy with it.

The generation quality is the reason I keep using PromptChan. You can get some really impressive results without needing to be an expert. Unfortunately the site can also be buggy. I've had generations fail and certain prompts or more complicated scenes seem much less reliable. It's frustrating because underneath those issues there's a genuinely good generator. I'd probably give it 4 or 5 stars if the technical side was more consistent.
